A relationship between my husband and son

A relationship between my husband and son: I need to know if I am doing the right thing. My son will be laid off from his seasonal firefighter job next month. He has applied for 3 police dept and is on the internet searching for jobs everyday. Since he has been married he is the sole provided because his wife has stayed home since gavin was born.They had a savings of 7000 dollars but her family asked them if they could help bury her grandfather who died bankrupt.They did it out of love and promise from her dad.It has been a year and not a penny has come from anyone in her family. Now they have come to a place where they cant even afford a apartment. He has asked us if they could move in with us until he gets a job. My husband has always disliked my son. When we married he was 14yr and of course we had teenage problems but my son would go to church and loves the Lord.He has matured and all that they do is with gavin. We have had his 2 sons living with us when their mom kicked them out instead her boyfriend.My husband is a very good dad but does not want to be a stepfather. I on the other hand have a good relationship with his 2 son and 1 daughter. I even had a talk with his ex-wife and told her its so bad to be using your kids as the go between her and my husband regarding their kids needs. The Lord answered that prayer now they talk! Please pray that the Lord would soften his heart toward my son and he would stop verbally abusing me hoping I would change my mind. My son is a only child. His dad died in 1986, when my son was 5 months. His dads family thought they were entitled to insurance money that they didn't get so they disowned me an my son.He looked for his grandparents and family and now he sees them only at Christmas. They all do not have a extra room for my sons family. Pray for my health, I am be coming depressed over this trial.My husband teaches 3rd grade Sunday school and I'm praying that one of the children would be going through a bonding issue, that he would see himself clearly through Gods eyes. Please pray for a job for my son and his wife so they can get their own place. Also my son's wife has a lump in her breast..pray that it is not cancer or the Lord would heal her completely.
