Christian Love Poem - The Strength of a Woman
The strength of a woman is truly divine, Coupled with beauty was His majestic design. Specifically created from his bone, So man would never have to walk alone. To be at his side through thick and thin, Ever feeding his strength from within. For this honored purpose only God could've made, Not one honest man would ever consider a trade. Yet, in all her strength and in all her glory, Can many times be an untold story. Or maybe her heart has been severely broken, By acts of love that had went unspoken. But so many things could often be said, Of the countless thoughts that run through her head. Day after day she fakes a smile, For this has come to be her style. In the appearance of strength she is vulnerably weak, Secretly wiping the tears from her cheek. Is it a self-inflicted weight, That has caused her weakened state? Is it a guilt-stricken heart, Which makes it easier for her to part? Does she choose to replay the failures of her man, Allowing a Defeated Power to alter a Greater Plan? As she feels her world beginning to quake, Her hands begin to noticeably shake. Any time now can be an utter collapse, For she can not see her loosened straps. With her shattered strength, how much longer will she prolong? A truth often dismissed: You must surrender to be strong. At this very moment in her life, God is crying, "Please! A greater strength you will find in falling to your knees."
