Christian Marriage Prayer from Randy

I have had anger problems at various points in my life. All centered around when I'm not right with the Lord and placing my relationship with Christ at the top of my priority. During the 6 years of marriage I have not been right with the Lord, I've had old issues that I never dealt with and thought I could tackle the world without the Lords help. WRONG. I abused my wife over the first 5 years of our marriage. This last year was fine because I was trying to be a servant to her. Now I even see that isn't enough, that my walk with Christ needs to improve, my prayer time for my wife must improve and a whole host of things that God wants me to become in Christ. However, my wife is scared, hurt, not sure she wants to continue with me. I totally understand. She is closing off to me. She is involved more with her friends than me and staying out until 4-5 in the morning. Our children miss her.

Pray for me to have patience, to become the man of God that I need to be and the husband God wants me to be.

Pray for my wife to seek God and make sure her life in Christ is in order. Pray for her healing, for her to soften her heart. Pray for her to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and God's will for her and us. She is meeting with our pastor at 10am CT today. I will be shutting my office and praying for her during this time. I need the multitude to be praying for my wife. Our reconciliation may take a lot of time, but regardless, I'm praying for a miracle to happen in God's time.
