Christian marriage praying for my wife's heart to be mended: I have caused nothing but heartache for my wife. I stopped pursuing her after the wedding, and have let my words not reflect the love of Christ in our marriage. With simple words that I was not on guard for, I have wounded her deeply, she now daily screams she wants a divorce, she hates me, and runs myself and my family through the ground (family meaning my parents, we don't have children yet), and has gone so far as to hit, scratch, and throw things at me. She is unresponsive to anything in kindness that I do for her, except when I say I love you, to which she responds with "I HATE YOU!"

I am desperately trying to love her like God loves her. I know the error of my ways, and am making strides to change my previous patterns. I don't want it to be too little too late. I love her, despite everything that she has done in response to her feelings of rejection from me, I still love her, and know what I did not only destroyed her love and trust in me, but her love and trust in Christ, because my love was supposed to mirror God's love for her, and I failed in that. I need people to stand with me and pray for victory and healing in this marriage.
