Effective Communication in Christian Marriage: I am hurting because part of me feels that I did not seek God totally in marrying my husband. He is a great man but communication is not there. Never apologizes when things are brought to his attention. It is always a tit for tat situation-- "Well you did this." We also had his mother living with us which was a major no-no this caused a wall to be placed between us. We are still operating financially as single people because I feel he has no trust in me with his money. I have laid every thing out on the table before and after marriage so I can not understand why he can't trust me. I don't feel there is a connection because I never was really released to move into marriage as soon as I did. I got caught up with the idea of being married and he was a great guy who would do anything in the world for me but now he will flip and feels he does nothing wrong and I am tripping. My biggest request was that he seek God more. He is so busy working at the church for God and working for his job that I really don't feel he has a connection with the God I serve so that is why he can't communicate with me. I don't want to leave but I need help badly! Please pray.
