Free Christian Games to Spice up Your Marriage

<< Back to Romance Ideas

christian games When was the last time you and your sweetheart played a romantic game together?

Romantic games for couples are a great way to spice things up a bit.

That's right, we all need a little spice here and there.christian games

Infact, sometimes as Christians, we need a little more spice then others. Why? Because we often get so consumed with spiritual matters that we allow our marriages to become cold and dry.

Listen, cold and dry may be good conditions for preserving an igloo, but trust me, it won't do much when it comes to preserving your marriage.

Now let's see if we can melt some of that ice with these free christian games...

*** WARNING: PLEASE DON'T DO TRY THESE AT HOME ***

Romantic Games for Couples

Blessed Chess

How it Works: Okay, this is just like a regular game of chess but with a few exceptions. Whenever a player over-takes the playing peice of their partner, they say "Bless me!" That player is then entitled to be blessed with a romantic treat of their choosing. A romantic treat could be anything from a french kiss to a foot massage but should not last longer than 2 minutes.

The winner of this chess game is entitled to a one hour romantic treat of their choice, which must be redeemed before the end of the night.

Romantic Word Scrabble

How it Works: Same as playing scrabble but only use words that relate to love making. The twist is that each word must be used in a sentence and also demonstrated.

Marriage Games

The Kissing Game

How it Works: Remember those kissing bells at your wedding reception? Everytime someone rang the bell, you and your sweetheart had to kiss? The concept is the same here except the trigger is not a bell but a word. The two of you will choose a movie to watch together, preferably a romantic movie. Each time the word is said in the movie, the two of you must kiss. The word can be whatever the two of you decide.

Bath and Body Words

How it Works: For this game all you need is candle light and a tub full of bubbles. Prior to getting in the tub, heat your bathrobes and towels in the dryer. Once the two of you are in the tub, you should each take turns writing on the other persons back. Just wet the persons back, lather it really good, and use your finger to write words that relate to love and romance. Then allow the other person a chance to guess what you wrote.

Getting to Know You

How it Works: This game is all about getting to know the desires, likes, and dislikes of your spouse. Ahead of time, prepare a list of intimate questions to ask your spouse. Ask questions like, "what physical feature of mine do you like the most, and why?; What is the best way to put you in the mood for lovemaking?". You decide on the questions but make sure you have atleast 10-15. When your spouse answers a question, you should respond to the same question. At the end, the two of you will have a wealth of intimate details for a romantic evening together.

Marriage Games

Create Your Own Romantic Game

How it Works: Use a game you already have at home like Twister, or Monopoly. Get creative by changing the rules of the game and adding your own penalties and rewards. This can really be a lot of fun!

Free Christian Games

Romantic Word Search

How it Works: First, print out two copies of the Romantic Word Search. Taking one for yourself and giving the other to your spouse. Next, set a five minute time limit. Now, compete to see who can find the most words. The winner of the game is entitled to request three of the items from the word search key.
