Hope for the future of our marriage: My husband and I have been married for 1 month and talk about ROCKY...He was my High school sweet heart 20 yrs ago I had to move he moved on and so did I. I moved back to my home town he was divorced and so was I. We started talking and dating and now married. He is the love of my life. We love each other and both have GOD in our lives. My PRAYER today is that God will give us the strength and hopefulness to keep fighting for what we want more in life and that is each other. Because we already have god and our kids.

I personally think that the first 3 years is the roughest (speaking from experience.) Though you all were high school sweethearts are you both equally yoked in Spiritual beliefs, parenting, outlooks on living life? If the answer is yes, I believe you have a healthy fighting chance. I would suggest that you and your husband pray together and have a prayer time that involves you, your spouse, and all the children together. May God bless your home and keep you all.
