I believe God wants my marriage to last

I believe God wants my marriage to last: Recently, out of the blue, my husband declared that he is unhappy, that nothing will ever change (including me), and that he's not sure that he wants to stay married. I have to admit that I am hurt and confused, and I have spent a lot of time crying and praying about what could have gone wrong. We've had a lot of struggles in our nearly 21 years of marriage, but who hasn't? I simply don't know if he's looking for a way out because he's developed an interest in another woman, or if he is just confused and doesn't know how to fix what he perceives is wrong in our marriage.

We vowed before God to love, help and support each other for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, but it seems he's ready to break that vow. I truly need the prayers of godly people who will lift us up to the throne of God and pray for the survival of our marriage. I have been a Christian for many years, and I KNOW God answers prayer, and I believe God wants our marriage to succeed, not fail. Please pray with me that God will get a hold on my husband's heart and that he will respond.
