Question: Is It Wrong to Be Married to a Person Much Older Than You? My name is Ruth. I am 27yrs. old. am married to a 64 yrs old man. How do I deal with this? Sometimes I don't enjoy my marriage. I always think I did a mistake in my life to be married with an old man. Second, although my husband satisfies me very good with sex, I have a problem when it comes to kissing. I believe the Bible says, wife to submit to husband,and man has authority to my body. Is it wrong to kiss a woman or a man private parts? Or do my husband have authority over my all body? Does it line with God's word to do that?

Answer: Hi Ruth: No, there is nothing wrong with marrying someone older than you. If you truly love the person, it does not matter if they are older. In order to make the most of your marriage, you have to make a decision to do everything you can to make your marriage enriching. If you desire to do things that your husband is not interested in doing, ask him if he is willing to compromise with you. For instance, if you want to go to a movie and he doesn't want to go, ask him if would mind you going with a girlfriend. Then when you get back home, the two of you can do something he enjoys. Marriage is all about compromise. It might also help if the two of you had a regular date night. Use that time to plan fun and exciting things.
