The Heart of a Dove

Each morning as you awaken from your soft sleep
You hear me call to you in the distance.
You get out of your bed to come and see what I have to offer you. I offer you my heart full of love.

I am the morning dove that coos to you to welcome each new day. As you look for me, the sun shines down on you face.

You spot me above your bedroom window.
I see you looking at me so I coo to you just to see your smile.

I look forward to each morning when you awake to search for me. I am never hard for you to find because I long to see your smile each and every day.

You give me a reason to spread my wings and soar
Your happiness is all I live for each night to see the next morning.

I am the morning dove that coos to you to see the sunshine glow about you. You deserve to be happy and my goal is to see that happen.

My heart is yours and will always be.
Because on your sweet face is happiness and smiles I search each morning to see.

If I ever fall from the sky I know that you would be the one to find me. You would be the one I would want to care for me to send me a flight once again.

Because even though I am only a dove with a very small heart the love it holds is more than the sun
I know that you share this love with the way you look for me each morning. Just because you seem to have a bigger heart than I it cant compare to the love in mine for you.

So as you start to feel like nothing is going the way you planned and your world is falling apart.

Just look out your window and search for me.

I wont be far because my heart wants to see your smile. I will be right there to coo for you and sooth it all away.

I am the dove with a heart that loves you.
