Marriage Restoration and Deliverance: I destroyed my 20-year marriage through the use of pornography and an illicit affair. By the grace of God my wife was forgiving and willing to "start over" in our marriage when she first found out about 7 months ago. God has done a great work in me and I'm experiencing true repentance and victory in terms of purity. However it seems it may be "too late" for my wife. She is now talking about divorce. She is surrounded by well meaning people who have been burned in this life and now are more than happy to give her advice. I completely understand there is provision for divorce because of what I've done. I believe with all my heart though that God hates divorce and would want us to remain together. I pray above all for a close relation ship with God. I pray for continued true, genuine repentance in my sexual life. I pray that God would draw my wife close to Him and that He would lead her back to me.
