Married and Alone

Married and Alone. I am praying for my husband and myself to be able to listen and love each other. I am also praying that my husband will enjoy being with me. I want both of us to want to be with each other and for my husband to to want to be with our family.

I am praying for my husband to have a closer relationship with God and bring our family closer to God. I pray that I can stop focusing on his faults and encourage him instead.

But there are so many things going on and not happening. I feel that sex is not a part of our marriage. I need a little romance and appreciation. We have been married for 23 years and I feel like I am giving up. We don't have any of the same interests anymore, I feel like I am the only one trying. I feel empty. we don't talk, he makes promises and then breaks them/ he makes it a point to avoid us as a family. I know he is unhappy too. He doesn't want to try.
