My Marriage Falling Apart: My husband and I both lost our jobs. We have had car problems, home problems and he has a drinking problem. He got another job making half as much and I receive unemployment. We both lost our jobs due to downsizing. My husband is a good man(when he is not drunk) He has 4 daughters by a previous marriage, 17/15/14/10. His children are disrespectful to me-they call my home after 11pm most nites their mother never worked and lives off of welfare. My husband has a court order for child support but since he lost his job he continue to give her money (cash) This women wants money daily and the kids need money daily-for dances they never attend for medication -but they are on welfare meds are free. The oldest has a child so she needs milk and pampers.
I told my husband please lets go back to court and get a reduction according to your income that is fair to everyone the court decides. The home we live in is mine,the truck he drives is mine,I got on the internet and applied for the job he now has and the one making 2dollars more and hour that he just got.Now he wants to work 2 jobs to supply his kids needs-They don't have any needs there all being met by the government and what money he gives his ex. I'm TIRED! Does stand by your husband mean being stupid? I worked all my life my home is mine cause I paid for it I don't understand and I think I was better off alone. My husband works hard and is loving. He tries hard to be a good husband he drinks I just feel lost please pray for me, Kim, and my husband in Indiana. Thank You
