My Marriage Story: Hi and God bless. My name is Stephanie I met my husband Yassil in the church where we are attending now and we where friends for three years after that he decided that our friendship should come to something more but because I didn't know if it was from God so I decided to wait and pray and I had told him that if he was willing to pray and wait then maybe God would answer this petition of ours,by the way he had already received confirmation from God that I was to be his wife but I didn't. We'll 1 week and half passed by and nothing so I didn't think he was and he was like we should start dating I am like I am sorry God hasn't said anything to me but after that I decided okay I will be your girl but if God tells me no it's no. Okay so that's what happened then 2 days after I wasn't even thinking about him or nothing. All of a sudden that night I had a dream of him and me. I was looking for a building and when I got to the building many people where there and all of a sudden me and Yassil met eye to eye in the dream and i had a feeling that our love was going to be pure because it felt that we had loved and known each other since we where young. when you read about young love or love from childhood is something powerful and pure and that's how my dream felt. So I took it as a confirmation but I still wanted more confirmation and from God that he was the one that God had for me. God speaks to me through dreams, His word, and also he has given me discernment to know and feel when something is or not of Him. Well after awhile a woman from my church who was in Puerto Rico at this time I was asking God about this petition she didn't know about it she didn't even know i started dating my husband yet a lot of people knew and my pastors to because I know God is a God of order, so when she came back from her vacation she said Stephanie I need to tell you something she said I saw you in a dream preparing for a wedding and I was like wow God is good and I told her I am not preparing for a wedding yet but I am with someones now and he is a man of God he loves God and I been praying to know if this guy is the one he has for me. So after that my husband also had took me out on a date it was our first official date he had asked for confirmation from God about me to really know if I was to be his wife. So God did what he had asked God "If Stephanie wears the color of the wedding that she wants for the wedding on this date then I will receive it as confirmation and that happened with out me even knowing anything and after so many confirmations we decided to tie the knot may 16 2009!! My advice to christian singles is that it's hard to wait but it's worth it and God has given me such a great gift that I will never know God bless your sister in Christ Stephanie!! :)
