Need Marriage Help and Prayer: My husband and I have been married for over 22 years have 1 beautiful son Garrett 13. It appears that I have been an enabler for this entire relationship. All he has to do is his normal anger or if I ask any question he will spin it to put the focus on me. He drinks to the point of excess each weekend only. Makes promises he denies making thinks its funny. I am a homemaker for now supper on table daily my son always at either baseball or football which he signs him up for i end up taking. If I claim to be under the weather his response is what the h--- am I to do one of us has to work. Yours is not hard, you do it. Not one bit of sympathy. We have not made love for over 5 years just no desire neither does he. This is the only thing that I know for sure raised to believe sex or affection is bad. I am totally opposite I love hugs, snuggles and playfulness I believe it show we care and still love to have fun..I don't know what I was thinking, maybe fix him. He manipulated me from day 1 I know this. I am so sad all the time this is not who I am my friends are concerned. I should have seen the thousand red flags he has no close friends no interests of his own no church ties and I have many wonderful
Christian women in my life whom I love. But to have a friend, one must be a friend i always tell him go to a group of your own make friends. not drinking buddies. Please help I am lost, scared and confused don't know how to confront this need good advise am i on right path. At times I am not even sure its worth saving when I do all the work and sacrifice he does nothing but be a bully, to my son and I.
