Please Pray for My Christian Marriage: Hello all, please pray for me. Its nearly a year I have been married and I have a beautiful little boy...my husband keeps hurting me...keeps cheating on me emotionally with other women (I know some of them)..seen so many messages and am beginning to get fed up and I need advice on how to overcome this feeling of bitterness in my heart. This is the first year of my marriage and I feel like throwing in the towel as am just always hurt. Please pray along with me. Thank you

fOCUSING ON GOD

Please seek godly counseling. Then read and study Scriptures dealing with marriage. What comes to mind are two scriptures: Romans 12:9-21 and 1 Peter 3:1-6. These and others will bring much comfort. Don't allow the enemy to use a smoke screen to divert your attention from what God has in store for you. You must stop trying to get your spouse to be faithful. Pray and believe God to take care of that. Ask God to help you overcome the bitterness that is trying to set up residence in your heart. Just believe that your heavenly will take care of you because He said, "I'll never leave you or forsake you."
Stand back and see God's salvation and restoration in your life. Don't look at the circumstances because what you see will change.
Build yourself up in Christ. Apply godly principles to this situation and believe that God will work this out. I'm praying for you.
