Pray for God to stop my divorce and redeem our marriage: Hello, My wife and I are in desperate need of intense prayer and a miracle from God Himself. We are Christian, and God brought us together in marvelous ways. God used me to bring her to faith in Christ and in turn we had a solid foundation. Where it got shaky is that she relied on me more than God and never really let Christ into the deep issues of her life. And I too had my mistakes because of some moral failures on her part and pride in my heart I tried to control things. This in turn pushed her further from me. Our first year of marriage was good, our 2nd things began to unravel. She started hanging out less and less with authentic Christian friends and more and more with very loose morals, even if though they called themselves Christians. This also tainted her perspective on using the grace of Christ to indulge the sinful nature. She also began to very much confide in some divorcees her life. So on our 2nd year anniversary (October 18, 2010) I only saw her for 1.5 hours then she left. Two days letter she left a letter along with her wedding ring - in it stating that "God can only do so much" and that "people don't change" and even was saying God was telling her to divorce. A person that is actually involved with her prodigal journey now confided and made it known that she was most probably unfaithful even before leaving. I still very much love her and God has brought to light all my sin and mistakes in the marriage and I have had a chance to confess them to both God and my wife whom I love more than anyone. I know God's grace, truth, love and forgiveness can change and redeem our marriage even though she is attempting to close the divorce this month. Please pray that God by His Holy Spirit will fill us both with the love and life of His Spirit in Christ. With God all things are possible.
