Prayer for a Christian husband

Prayer for a Christian husband: We have been married 25 years. I came to know the Lord 4 years later. Life together has been hard but bearable until a stroke seemed to take my husband's tenderness, kindness, and attitude of cherishing me. That was 6 years ago. Only through God's grace have we both stayed together with our two sons of 29 and 25.

I am recovering from minor heart surgery just now and desperately need some sort of affection, reassurance and expressions of love. My husband seems devoid of this ability, and is often more concerned with what he having for dinner than our/any relationship with me or anyone else.

I have read through some of your site and found the article on Being Unequally Yoked very helpful. But it seems my husband cannot give what he has lost.

Please pray with me that God will give HIM a new heart and that he will love and cherish me as he used to as he comes to know and love Jesus.
