Prayer for Marriage Restoration: I'm praying for restoration of my relationship with my husband of 14 years and for our marriage to go to another level. My husband and I have never had much of a sexual relationship and he was not comfortable discussing how to improve it. It was always easier for me to please him than for him to please me. I realize that this was a much bigger problem than I thought. We also don't have children, which now he says is an issue. He has what I believe are minor fertility issues but he would never follow up with a specialist and I didn't want to make him feel badly about it so I didn't press it. But I desire children just as badly. We have a successful business together and used to be together all the time. We were best friends. My husband admitted to an affair a month ago and has asked for a divorce but still wants for us to remain business partners. I also found out that he had a one-time affair while I was out of town after my father died. I'm devastated but I believe strongly in the power of God to heal, to restore, to make new and to provide what is missing and broken in our relationship. I just need encouragement because it's all one-sided for me right now. I am improving my unconditional love walk every day and I'm even paying some of the other woman's bills (she's 20 years younger than we are, not working and he's paying all the bills and creating a new life with her). Other than the sex and no children, everything else is great. I really believe that we've invested so much and there's still so much that God can do with us, through us, and for us. We've counseled other couples in the past with great results. Please agree with me in prayer. I know that God hates divorce and that with God nothing is ever impossible. I can see us renewing our vows, with new wedding rings, a new home, and a second honeymoon, as well as the miracle of children. Thank you for your prayers.

Make God's word the final word

I agree with you in prayer that your marriage will be restored soon and any ties that your husband has with his mistress will be cut off. We pull down every stronghold that comes against the Name of Jesus Christ...any stronghold that is keeping your marriage from becoming what God has purposed it to be. God is greater than this problem and His Word says in Matt. 8:13 "..it shall be done for you as you have believed". No matter what circumstances say, no matter what the devil is doing...we make up our minds to live by faith and not by sight..and we make Your Word,Father God, the last word that we will believe in our hearts.

Don't worry we serve as miracle working God and don't give up on the brink of your miracle. Just remember Gods Grace is more than enough. Please can you keep in prayer as well as my husband of 13yrs wants nothing to do with me now. We have 2 beautiful girls.I know we that God is going to restore christian marriages out there, You will be in my prayers. God Bless

I believe with everything that I am that God can restore your marriage even though there has been infidelity and other hidden issues. I ask that you pray for me and my family. My wife has already filed for divorce, I believe primarily because for another man. The divorce is final, but I am praying earnestly that God will change her heart, bring her to Him and back to me.
