Prayer for my husband's porn addiction: My husband becomes some else on the internet and chats up women. He has many profiles and chat names and asks them to send nude photos of themselves and perform sex acts using the webcam. He also surfs porn sites and also sends vulgar texts messages to other women.Whenever I've caught him he says sorry and does it all over again. It hurts so much and I can't even trust him. Please pray for my husband to be set free from his addictions and that he would become the man God has purposed him to be.

Stop Porn aggreement

I know how you feel, I recently made him sign and agreement with points about what would happen if it continued. He has put them up around the office and when tempted I pray he will read it and think again.

This is the agreement :

I ??????..acknowledge that in continuing on this path of Sin which I am being tempted to at present will result in the following:

1. I will hurt, my wife of ?? years by disrespecting, dishonoring and mistreating her as a wife and be in breach of the marriage vows to respect and honor thus making her feel worthless, un -loved and unattractive, I also acknowledge that each time I give in to this sin and lie of the devil it makes her feel like the other woman and unvalued in the relationship. I also acknowledge that if I continue I will further destroy the trust that has been build up once again and will break her heart.
2. I now know and except that my wife can no longer continue to stay if I continue on this path as each time I sin I break the bond that holds us together. I also shatter the trust she has in me.
3. I know that every time I look at porn on the net I am devaluing women who are priceless, beautiful, and precious in the eyes of God. Each one of these Women is someone?s Mother or someone?s Daughter and greatly loved.
4. I understand and accept that if I continue I will not only lose my wife but my kids.
5. I understand that if I continue on this path of destruction MY SON is more likely to follow me and be in bondage to this himself.
6. I understand that I am sabotaging my ministry which not only affects me but others who God has purposed for me to influence in this world thus having eternal consequences.
7. I understand that I am sabotaging my wife?s ministry and that will have eternal consequences.
8. I understand that if I don?t get free I cannot be effective in the ministry God has planned for my life and so I will lose this and God will find somebody else to take over.
9. I understand that I have all power over the enemy and that this is a lie from the pit of Hell sent by the Devil to Kill, Steal and destroy my life. I know there is no pleasure in the pain that will follow should I continue this now.
10. I promise I will from this day forward should I feel an attack of the enemy I will :
* Pray in tongues if my Wife is not home
* Wake my wife and ask for prayer, if she is home
* Get into daily prayer about this very issue
* Seek help and do everything in my power to withstand the attacks of the enemy.

Should I purposely and willing look at porn on the net or engage in on line chat or dating sites after knowing the above consequences I will therefore give my wife permission to leave me which will result in total breakdown of everything we have. I also acknowledge that this was a conscience choice I have made and I have chosen Sin over her.
