Praying for a Joyful Christian Marriage: Dear lord, I'm praying for a joyful marriage. One where both my husband and I can get along on a better level. One where we live the life you intended for us to live as a family. I pray that I may please my husband instead of angering him almost on a daily basis. I never know what to expect, it's like walking on eggshells. He is a good man kind and generous to his neighbors but with his family he is very harsh and sometimes cruel. He holds high expectations on me and our children. I wish I could meet them in order to please him but I never seem to be able to do anything right in his eyes.

He wrongs his family way to often, but doesn't seem to be aware of it. Yet when we wrong him no matter how small he punishes us out of his anger.

I pray that I may please my husband, I pray that my husband could be a gentler soul with his family as he is to those outside the home.
I beg you lord fill our hearts with your spirit so we may live our lives as you intended
these thing I pray through Jesus Christ, Amen.
