Prefer marital restoration but will let him go if necessary: My husband and I have only been married for 2 1/2 months. He is already wanting to leave me. I believe there has been a much younger woman in the picture for a while now. I believe they are conspiring to move to South Carolina with each other. My husband and I have a one-year old son together. We were just beginning to go to church r and also, starting a new prayer life together. Evidently, he has had this girl in the picture long before we were married. However, for some reason he chose to marry me instead of her. I don't believe that was an accident. It seems to me that if it was really meant for the two of them to be married, he would have married her instead of me. I know now that GOD has been telling me to forgive him of the offense but focus on getting myself educated, employed, and stable while HE(the Holy Spirit)works on my husband. My prayer is for marital restoration between us--- yes, definitely for the sake of our Godly offspring. In the meantime, I will be working on my own goals. I know this for sure--- I do not desire nor will I have to return to the same old situation that has been. That is not God's best for me, my son, or my husband. And, if God shows me that he has something better in store for me in the future apart from this man... then I will let him go completely and move on. On the other hand, I know that nothing is too hard for God to do. His arm is not too short to save. I also know that He has plans for us, plans to prosper us, and not to harm us, to give us a hope and a future. And remember what God has joined together... let no man or woman separate. Please pray that through all of the pain and heartache that I will order my words aright. We have the power of life and death in our tongues. I need to be more obedient and disciplined to speak life over my marriage as I am now being taught to do.
