Save My Christian Marriage: My Husband and I have been married for almost 5 years and have a 2.5 year old Son. We have been together a total of 13 years. We had troubles during our relationship...which followed through to our Marriage. We have been through 2 separations in the past, which resulted in the same thing. We went to about 5-6 therapy sessions and thought our problems were resolved, but they never were. We've both made our share of mistakes...but he refuses to believe/think that our Marriage can be salvaged. He says that God can only guide, but cannot change anyone. He has said several times that he LOVES ME, BUT CAN'T BE WITH ME. He thinks that I will never change. He believes that anything is better than being with me. He calls our relationship vicious and poisonous. We weren't happy, but it's because of this TRIAL that God is allowing us to endure...that I have drawn closer to him. I never sought to close to God before this. I know he is allowing this because he is working in me. I've seen changes in the past 2 months...since my Husband left. But my Husband wants nothing to do with God and definitely not with me. He only wants to communicate about the Baby and House. He emailed me a "Rental Lease Agreement" for the House this morning and he has begun to tell people we are separated and headed for Divorce. It is now that I ask for prayer...so that my Husband's heart can be softened and for him to seek the Lord and know that he will not forsake us. I would love for him to be a MAN OF GOD and to see that God does not like DIVORCE and that he needs to be with his FAMILY.
