Save our Christian Marriage: My husband and I been married for 8 years and we have 19 months baby boy after 6 years of marriage. Our son is a miracle boy cause I had miscarried twice before I had him, first miscarriage was soon after we got married. I have been through many issues with my husband since I have been married. I use to say "possibly he is stressed because of loosing babies and he liked to have babies". After we had our son those issues never departed us, now is more issues. My husband acts impatiently and doesn't know the meaning of communication. He has loud tone when talking. Our communications always escalates to loud voice.....I ask him to have softer tone and ask him also not to open any subject that leads to arguments in front of our baby and most of the time our communications leads to arguments. I urge you to pray to save my marriage. I don't want our miracle baby to grow up in such environment. I am also desperate to have a supportive husband especially if he claims he is Christian.

Praying for you

My husband also left me after 8 years of marriage. He claims that he has nothing left to give although he continues to do nice things like call me on my birthday. Recently he gave me a real hug instead of one of his pat your back I'm done hugs. It was really nice, but the next time he is back to patting my back. He keeps me so confused with his actions.

I pray for you and your baby. I pray that your husband sees the light, and that divorce is not what God wants us to do. I pray that he will see what a mistake he has made and comes home and proceeds to prove to you just how big a mistake he made. I pray that he realizes that he has to show you he can be trusted again. I pray that he owns up to his commitment to you and your child. I pray that he realizes that you are both his world and begs for forgiveness.

Hi there,

I went through a similar cycle of events with my husband and we have been through so much with our marriage to and have also been married for 8 years. I will pray for you but I would also like to advise that you both seek marriage counseling to get to the route of the problem without having an argument. God is restoring my marriage ...our main way to communicate with each other was also arguing. After praying together which was hard, looking into our bible , speaking about our faith more openly with one another, and seeking counseling, as a couple we are much calmer and respectful of one another. Some things need to be dealt with directly and others need prayer, some things need to be discussed at the right time, whilst yet other issues may need the insight of a counselor. Please don't be ashamed either as this is obviously a difficult area within christian marriage and is not something that we can talk about openly. We actually went to a pastor from another church to confide in as we felt too ashamed to tell our own pastor of the difficulties we faced. Speak with your own pastor too and let him help to guide your marriage back to Christ through his word.
