Save My Christian Marriage Through This Difficult Time: My marriage is in the middle of a very trying time right now. My husband lost his job a few months ago and ever since then things haven't been the same between us. He has decided to go back to school full time - to change careers so losing his job won't be a problem next time - however, he thinks he needs to move out of the house and live in an apt so he can better focus on his school work leaving me and the kids alone. He says he will still come home on the weekends and still spend time with me and the kids. He says it is not a separation - it is only temporary. There are a lot of other things going on in his mind and his life right now. Lord I want you speak to my husband and help him in his journey and help direct his path and open the right doors for him and close the one's that he does not need to walk through. I ask that you make me the kids a greater priority in his life and he desires to be home with us where we feel he belongs. Let us give him the space the opportunity to complete his education so that is not a concern of his. Lord,I know he is going through an emotional crisis right now and I can't help him but you can. You can say and do things that I am not able to do. I lay him and our marriage in your hands Lord. I ask that you speak to him even when he is sleeping and where ever he is and whatever he is doing I pray that he doesn't enjoy it and he aches to be back home with his family. I pray for a strong christian marriage that will last a life time. Lord you do not accept divorce or separation as part of a marriage - Lord please help put the pieces of my marriage back together and help us survive this time. Make the wife my husband needs and make my husband strong in mind and spirit and direct his steps to the right direction. I ask this in Jesus name.
