Standing for my marriage and my husbands salvation

by Kimberly
(Missouri)

Standing for my marriage and my husbands salvation: I have been praying for God to reconcile my marriage of 26 years. He moved to his own apartment 4 weeks ago. I know that God does not like divorce and I believe he didn't bring us together for it to end in a divorce. There is someone else he is seeing and I pray that God will keep a protection around him and let the other woman have blinders and leave him alone. I just pray that God will get Satan out of his life and let him open his heart back up to me and love me again. He says he cares and loves me but not in love with me. Our marriage hasn't been easy but I never thought he would give up his family for this. I am also praying for his salvation he really needs to know the Lord and I pray all day long off and on when I wake up in the night I thank God for what he is doing in this marriage. My husband is now wanting a divorce and wants it quick I think who ever he is seeing wants to see the divorce papers. I just ask God to put every obstacle in his way so he won't be able to file for awhile. I love him dearly and miss him very much. He is a good guy just lost at the present time trying to find emotional love. Thank you God for the work you are doing in my marriage and please continue to work with us to love again.

im in the same circumstance
by: bremda (missouri)

i am going thru the very same situation with my spouse. he moved out 5 months ago and is now dating a woman who was engaged to his good friend at one time. she has been to our house on several occasions and i had counseled her as a friend concerning her and my husbands friend. i feel very betrayed by them both and cant believe that this is a relationship that will last. he has a very endearing heart and thinks he is in love with her and will not talk to me or have any contact. she knows i want him and she refuses to step aside even tho he is still married. he has filed for a divorce but i am contesting it. i feel the longer it takes the better chance i have to save my marriage and his salvation. GOD has taken away the hurt and anger overnight. i couldn't sleep for five days and i cried to Him to please let me rest and sleep and to make my heart stop hurting and with that said i took a deep breath and sighed, the stress and anger left me , i turned over and fell asleep right away and rested and slept all night long. when i awoke the forgiveness was there and God had changed my life. i can not get enough knowledge of God and i want to learn all i can. i think he brought me to this to bring me thru this to bring me to Him. He is a Mighty God and i love him so much.
