![]() Traveling with My Fianceè
by Pauline
Question: Traveling with My Fiance' I might have made the wrong decision, but my fiance' and I have arranged a trip together for 20 days around 5 different cities... All this is very exciting but I can't stop to thing that we are going to be together and alone for long hours and maybe sharing room... and this is more than I can support. I really want to be with him in intimacy but I much more want to please God. How can I go for my trip with him and do the right thing (not having sex)? Answer: As a Child of God it is important that you learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Often times the Holy Spirit tries to warn us of things, but we ignore our gut. In your case, you are feeling deep down inside that this trip is going to lead to fornication, but you don't want to listen to your gut because you really want to go on this trip. But Pauline, your love for God must be greater than your desire to go on this trip. I say, don't go on the trip. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and save this trip for your honeymoon. It's far better to be obedient to the Spirit, then to live with guilt and shame later. Thank you for visiting our site. God's blessings upon you. In Love, Wanda |
