![]() Troubled marriage needs prayer
by Graham
Troubled Marriage: I have been married 29 years. I love my husband, but cannot talk to him about anything. He screams and yells , if I talk about anything that I feel. We have three kids 25, 19, 20 and he goes against everything I say to them. My middle son was talking to me and criticizing me for using the word legit, I said he just noticed because we have been talking more lately, my husband made fun of me to my son and said you know your mom always has to have the last word. He will not support me with the kids, that is just an example. He is a work-aholic, yet has lost three jobs since I have known him, due to mistakes and dishonesty. He has lied to me about numerous conversations with other women, including a past girlfriend that he recently checked up on, because he was concerned for her mother?? He has been diagnosed with depression and is on medication. He works, works , works and comes home and doesn't' talk and sleeps sleeps sleeps, and is not affectionate in any way, unless there is an audience, or if I have nagged him to do so. I am incredibly lonely, and want the man I married back. He has been depressed for 12 years, and blames me, the sky, the moon and everything else. He has had overly friendly, flirtatious e-mails with business women, I am so sad. My confidence level is terrible and I need prayer, lots of it. thanks |
