Will my christian marriage be reconciled

Will my christian marriage be reconciled? It had been six months now and my wife left me. I am lonely and devastated. I want to reconcile but she does not. We are not legally separated and I do not know what that means. I pray that God would intervene give her the grace to forgive and the desire to reconcile.

Shirley has a good point. I am in the same boat as you. Not legally separated but she has left the Marriage. She is also dating now. Be strong in the Lord, and never lose hope. Our Father in Heaven is greater than our Marriage problems and we have to remain steadfast in his word. I know it's very difficult and I myself am devastated. I would rather choose terminal illness over the pain I feel inside. Focus your eyes up above, and don't cease praying. Rely on Jesus for comfort and do not stray from your Faith. I will keep you in my prayers my brother.

Self-reflection is Good

You need to seek the Lord and ask him to show you what part you played in your wife's decision to leave. As the Lord leads, begin to work on yourself(self-reflection is a good place to start). Fast and pray for your wife and your marriage. Use this separation as a time to seek the Lord as you've never done before. Remember you can not change her, but you can allow the Lord to change you. When you allow him to do that, your entire perspective will change as well. If this marriage is meant to be, then reconciliation will come in God's timing. Meanwhile,seek Godly counseling and surround yourself with brothers who will pray for your marriage and will give encouraging words. Hang in there and believe that God can restore what the canker worm is trying to take.
